Reborn

Prologue



"Are you sure he's the one?" A deep voice says as it echoes across the dark and dingy cavern.

"If he's not, then their race and maybe even ours is screwed." A higher pitched voice says.

"He's passed all of the tests with flying colors. But why him and not the sister?" A different voice than the other two asked.

The first voice answered "Because, she can explode at some point. All he wants is respect from people for everyone."

"Do you think he'll be a good leader?"

"I'm not sure. He normally looks at the situation and then tries to find a passive way out.

"Ok but is there anything we can give her? We can only change one of them." The voice answered back.

"We could give her the gift of speech." The female voice says.

"That could work." The first voice answered.

"Excellent, I think we're all in agreement. Let us begin." The voice responded back.

Just when the voice finished speaking, a sphere of pure white light came out the ground emitting light into the cavern. The cavern's a strange one. It was a smooth dome-like cavern with monotone brown walls and floor with a small hole in the ceiling the size of a couple of needles for fresh air to come in. The walls however, we're the main center of attention. There were paintings of war, peace, love and betrayal all with one similarity. Each picture had at least one four-legged beast in every color imaginable that towered everything in that picture.

The sphere began to change from pure white to multiply colors as the image sharpened, the colors became a teenage boy wearing a dark blue T-Shirt with khaki shorts. It soon showed him sitting on a banana yellow school bus listening to music.

A golden colored dragon stepped into the light of the sphere and said "Let it begin."
